Judge McKinney named association president
Henderson County Judge Wade McKinney (center) has been elected president of the North and East Texas County Judges and Commissioners Association. Judge McKinney took the reigns this week during the Association's conference in Galveston.
"I am blessed and honored to be named President of the North and East Texas County Judges and Commissioners Association," he said.
The purpose of the Association is to promote the interests of county government through continuing education and active participation in governmental affairs.
In addition to Judge McKinney, the other officers include First Vice President Larry Woolley, Johnson County Commissioner; Second Vice President Jim Lovell, Houston County Judge; Secretary/Treasurer Chris Kirkendall, Hardin County Commissioner; and Immediate Past President Kelly Traylor, Cherokee County Commissioner.
