FEMA Training Sessions

Henderson County is hosting FEMA training this week for emergency management personnel from around the county and state.

The goal of this training is to "share proven incident management strategies and practices, as well as to enhance teamwork and coordination among the agency’s mid-level managers and command staff directly responsible for emergency response to all-hazards incidents."

This three-day training will culminate with an exercise held at the Henderson County Senior Center.

Agencies represented include The Department of Public Safety, Henderson County Sheriff's Office, Henderson County Emergency Management, Texas Division of Emergency Management, Texas Department of Corrections, Brownsboro ISD, Eustace ISD, Malakoff ISD, UT Health EMS, UT Health Athens, Williamson County Sheriff's Office, and various police departments from across the state including Fluggerville, Henderson, and Longview.
