District Attorney Palmer presents 2021 Excellence Awards
Henderson County District Attorney Jenny Palmer presented the first DA's Excellence Awards Friday morning. These awards will become an annual event, she said.
"We are blessed to have a lot of really great law enforcement in Henderson County," Mrs. Palmer said. "These awards recognize some of those who have gone above and beyond to make sure our county is safe."
Winners of the 2021 Excellence Awards were:
Corporal Tom Atkinson, Texas Department of Public Safety
Investigator Gabriel Shue, Henderson County Sheriff's Office
Laura Carpenter, Henderson County DA's Office prosecutor
"We at the DA's Office so much appreciate all of our law enforcement," Mrs. Palmer said. "We are blessed to have a great team here in Henderson County."
